The Greater Arbutus Business Association wouldn’t be able to put on the fabulous community events, keep Arbutus looking beautiful and inform its members in a timely manner without the help of our committees. | Arts Festival Community Events | Committee to plan and provide yearly arts and crafts festival in Arbutus, which is the largest fundraiser in the community to benefit the Greater Arbutus Business Association. |
| Beautification Community Events | To provide for the community Aesthetics for the physical improvement & Beautification of Arbutus. |
| Business Directory | Appointed by the Board of Director’s to facilitate the creation and promotion of Community Business Directory |
| Christmas Decorations Community Events | Promoting the Holiday Spirit throughout Arbutus |
| Communications | Appointed by the Board of Director’s to electronically communicate with members for important events and information. |
| Development Revitalization | The purpose is to engage with development authorities and confer with other local business associations to determine attracting appropriate business to the Arbutus area. Take the necessary activities and actions to accomplish this goal. |
| 4th of July Parade Community Events | Dedicated to the promotions & facilitation of the 4th of July festivities in Arbutus. |
| Gateway Sign | Appointed by the Board of Director’s to gather, promote and schedule membership advertising. |
| Membership and Nominating | Promote membership in the corporation and its benefits to perspective businesses. Oversee all aspects of the election process. |
| Networking, Promotions & Event Planning | Be responsible to arrange the social functions for the Corporation. Promotion, Advertising and marketing of the events. Serve as a liaison with other local associations to promote jointly sponsored activities. |
| Newsletter | Collect and compile current events and promotions of GABA and the members. Produce communication flyer to share with the membership |
| Santa House & Train Garden | Advertise and promotion of Christmas in Arbutus |
| Scholarships Community Events | Distribute and compile Scholarship Applications to all the area high schools. Select recipients based on community service within the Arbutus area. |
| Street Light Banners | Promote the sales and use of the street light banners to advertise member’s businesses throughout the year, while adding to the esthetics of the Arbutus Business District. Oversee installation and storage of such banners. |
