American legion Dewey Lowman Post 109 is located in Arbutus, Maryland, but it’s membership extends to every corner of the state as well as other states.
Post 109 holds Memorial Day, 4th of July, and Veteran’s Day ceremonies at the Arbutus Flag Pole to help the community honor our great country, our veterans, and the service members who have paid the ultimate price for our freedom.
Dewey Lowman is also home to the Original 27 Flags Unity which proudly displays each of the 27 flags that have flown over the United States.
